So pretty disappointed in WindowBlinds. I am a OD Subscriber for many years and I like the products I have paid for. WB works great on Windows 10 but I'm not going backwards. When WIN11 came out I immediately installed WB and although most of the skins work it bogged down my system that I could not even open up outlook until I excluded it "per app" and Stardock claims WB is faster than the default skin WIN11 gives right Out of the Box. So I put WB aside and pretty much all Stardock products. When Win11 Build 24H2 came out that build was pretty fast. BTW...I have an Intel i9 10th gen with 64 GB RAM. So with that build I decided to give OD and all it's apps a chance but can you imagine that all the Skins I load bog down my system. When opening Outlook it was so slow I had to revert back without WB and low and behold everything starting working normally again. I think what is happening is OD's WB is optimized for 24H2 but I could be wrong. What I think is happening here is all the WB skins here on Wincustomize are designed for Win7 and Win10. I would like to see Stardock go through the skins available on Wincustomize and separate them out based on Win7/10/11 accordingly and maybe even use separate libraries because right now they seem to load up but wreak havok with your resources, etc. What do you think Stardock, are you up to the challenge to keep happy customers!

Under Vista or Win 7 (mainly 32-bit) I have a hard time finding an icon package that will change the desktop icons when in View/Medium mode. If I switch the icons to small then they appear as the package indicates. It doesn't matter what package I choose, even purchased high quality I can only get a few of the icons to change like Recycle Bin. When I apply the package all the icons change except the desktop, they all go to the ugly windows defaults. I have cleared the cache, rebuilt the cache and even deleted the cache manually and rebooted but still the same issue. I was able to get one to work if I uninstalled Icon Packager, reboot then reinstall but I'd have to do that on each package and it isn't worth it to do that everytime. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I recently bought an ATI X1900 AIW Card which was around $300 I installed Vista Home Premium to use the Media Center feature. The TV Tuner part of the card won't work and I was told by ATI that there is not going to be a fix for any of their AIW cards but their TV Wonder Tuner Cards models 650, 550 and Elite will work under Vista. I had to go out and spend another $80 to use the Media Center. After all the months of development I cannot believe that a company like ATI cannot get their act together and make their products work with Vista.If I'd known about this beforehand i would have bought an nVidia Card instead! I'm not happy at all with ATI.

Has anyone had trouble with WB5 working after installing Acronis True Image Workstation 9.1? I just bought it and loaded it but it wouldn't let me skin anything it kept defaulting to Windows XP style theme. I did a system restore to a day earlier and all is okay...guess I'm returning Acronis.

Just wondering why Wincustomize is still featuring Christmas skins etc when the holiday is over??
